Year round comfort is available with a heat pump by heating in the winter and cooling in the summer. If you want the convenience of paying one utility bill each month, then heating with an electric heat pump is a great choice. The new line of heat pumps can save you money over those that are 10 years and older by cutting utility bills. Not only will you save money that can be used towards financing a new system, you will also experience added comfort by having more even temperatures.
A complete product line is available to you with efficiency ratings from 13.0 to 17.0 SEER (seasonal energy efficiency rating - the higher the better). Packaged as well as split systems are available. Enhancing your heat by adding a two-speed system and a variable speed indoor fan is a great way to achieve more even temperatures, better savings, and humidity control. Additionally, a non-ozone depleting R-410A refrigerant is now available and is the best choice when purchasing a new system. One of the benefits of R-410A refrigerant is its exceptionally quiet operation.

Combining a heat pump with gas is a great back up when temperatures drop. In cool weather, it's an all-electric heat pump, but in very cold weather, it's a standard natural or propane gas furnace giving you the best of both energy sources. These can be purchased in either a packaged product (heating and air conditioning combined in one unit) or in a two part system.

Air Conditioning has been considered to be one of the greatest inventions ever developed. The first air conditioner was developed one hundred years ago and has become a vital necessity instead of a pleasant option for us today.
Air conditioning works by lowering temperature and lowering humidity. It is not merely enough to lower temperature, but the humidity must be lowered in order for you to feel cool. Humidity control can only be accomplished with a properly sized system. If your system is too large, it will not remove humidity and will result in having to set your thermostat at lower temperatures resulting in higher utility bills, short cycling and possible mold and mildew problems inside.
Air Conditioners are now available from 13.0 to 17 SEER and from single to two-speed in a variety of models and sizes to properly fit your home or business needs.
Gas Heating offers a cozy warm shelter from the elements. Gas heat makes your environment warmer more quickly than electric and sometimes thermostats can be set at lower temperature settings. When the furnace has a variable speed component, it operates in a lower stage up to 95% of the time allowing warm air to circulate through the house virtually eliminating up-and-down temperature swings.
Gas systems can operate with natural or propane gas. There are a wide variety of types to choose from. Efficiencies for gas packs are 80% and range from 80% to 96% for gas furnaces. Both gas packs and furnaces are available in 2-speed and 2-stage heating models which eliminates short cycling by operating a "+" lower temperatures when the weather is mild.

Good Ductwork is critical to the success of your home comfort system. A highly efficient unit will be minimized in its efficiency by a poorly designed and installed duct system. Even room temperatures will only be achieved by a well designed duct system. "One size fits all" does not apply for duct work systems.
At Comfort Master we design and install a properly sized efficient system through the use of load calculations. We use materials that are higher than the minimum building code requirements. Volume dampers are installed to adjust air flow for each room. We guarantee your indoor comfort and will gladly balance the indoor airflow on your new comfort system to make sure each room is just right. Our state of the art balancing equipment allows us to correctly adjust air flow for each room of your home.

| Zoning
of systems |
|
Zoning of a single system combined with well designed duct work overcomes the problems of having one thermostat attempting to maintain comfort for all your living areas. One thermostat cannot possibly keep track of temperatures throughout the entire home. And because hot air rises and cool air falls, it's even worse when you have a second story. One system can provide up to eight separately controlled areas in your home with zoning.

Indoor air quality is becoming more of a concern within today's homes. Today's homes are well insulated and tighter than older homes. The air in your home can be up to 100 times more polluted than the surrounding outdoor air. This allows humidity, odors and gaseous pollutants to be trapped inside causing mold, mildew and eventual damage to your house. The Trane CleanEffects™ air filtration system provides your family with the cleanest air in the industry. A blessing for asthma and allergy sufferers, it can remove up to 99.98% percent of airborne allergens from your home’s air as it's heated or cooled. And Trane CleanEffects™ is now proven to remove more than 99% of the common flu virus from your home’s filtered air.
Our HEPA whole house filtration systems are another option because they can filter air when the heating and cooling system is not in use. They capture 99.7% of all particles, even those as small as 0.3 microns (a human hair is 150 microns). They help reduce allergy symptoms, asthma, recurring colds and cough.
Whole house humidifiers put moisture back into your indoor air so you can relax in warm, soothing comfort. Dry air also causes itching, cracked skin and damage to your furnishings and woodwork. Our humidifier delivers up to 25 gallons of moisture a day into your home. During operation, fresh water continuously flows over the evaporator pad to reduce mineral build-up for long-lasting performance.
